A lone tank deep in enemy territory, blast your way through the enemies and a final boss in this top-down action game!
This was the second game I made at DePaul, created using GameMaker and its GML language. For this assignment, I was able to really dig into the GML language, and I played around with particles and surfaces. I found some great free graphics online that made the game look a lot more polished.
I only had a weekend to make it, so it's a little short with just one level and one boss, but I think the base mechanics have a lot of potential. Originally I had planned to have a tank customization system–which I why I built the tank out of surfaces–but time limitations forced my hand.
